Shipping Options and Costs
Flat Earth Imports® offers Standard UPS Ground shipping (approximately 3-7 days for delivery from date of shipment) or UPS 2nd Day Air® for orders to be delivered within the continental United States1. Most orders are processed, fulfilled and shipped from our United States-based warehouse facilities the same day (Monday-Friday, except holidays) for in-stock items if received before 11:30AM MST. Please note that we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or APO addresses.
For Standard UPS Ground shipping costs please refer to the Standard U.S. Shipping & Processing Rates table above for deliveries within the continental USA. For items shipped to Alaska or Hawaii, an additional fee of $14.95 will be added to your order.
We also provide RUSH shipping via UPS 2-Day Air (delivery in 2 business days from date of shipment) for an additional charge of $24.95 (Standard UPS Ground shipping cost + $24.95) for shipments within the continental USA. Please note, RUSH delivery via UPS 2nd Day Air is not available for furniture, oversized or out-of-stock items.

Packing Materials
At Flat Earth Imports we take great care in packing all of our authentic Italian products to ensure that your order arrives safely. This usually involves extra materials and a more hands-on, thoughtful approach to efficiently packing your unique shipment. We also try to reuse and/or recycle packing materials from our Italian partners whenever possible to lessen our impact on the environment. We hope you will consider doing the same.
Furniture Shipping Options and Costs
Generally, furniture and other oversized items are delivered within 3-8 weeks from date of order. We ship furniture and other large items via UPS Ground or common carrier. In-stock items ship within 48 hours from order confirmation. Shipping charges (Freight Costs) on purchases over $1000 are 14.95% of order total. Furniture shipping costs are separate from Flat Earth Imports’ standard shipping and processing rates and will be noted during the online shopping and checkout process. Furniture and other oversized items are only available for delivery within the continental United States. Some items may not be available to resellers for wholesale purchase.
Items are delivered to the door or driveway of the customer. Additional services such as inside delivery, assembly and packaging removal are NOT included and cannot be offered at this time. All of our product shipments are fully insured. In case of damage your order will remain valid and the product will be replaced in the shortest possible time at no additional cost for you.
Unless otherwise noted or requested, items are shipped fully assembled by UPS or Common Carrier. When your order is shipped you will be notified by e-mail. > Furniture Returns & Exchanges
Out-of-Stock or Backordered Items
While we work hard to keep popular items in stock, there may be times that standard items are temporarily out-of-stock. Backordered items may ship separately from in-stock items and separate shipping and tracking information will be provided for each shipment. We will contact you promptly to verify your order and arrange for a later delivery date on backordered items, should this be the case.
Special Orders or Made-to-Order
Special orders or made-to-order items average 8-12 weeks for delivery from the original order date depending on the item(s) ordered. Flat Earth Imports may require a 50% non-refundable down payment to originate a special order, and the remaining 50% will be charged at the time of shipment from Flat Earth Imports.
Special orders and made-to-order products are not returnable unless there is a manufacturer defect or deficiency that is deemed unacceptable by Flat Earth Imports’ personnel. In such cases, Flat Earth Imports’ Customer Service will work with you to find a suitable replacement or solution.
Forms of Payment
We accept all major credit cards including Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover® and American Express®. For qualified resellers, we may also accept payment by check (payment in advance) or Cash On Delivery (C.O.D. fee of $10 per box delivered will be added to the cost of shipping).

All sales are FOB Flat Earth Imports in Bozeman, Montana. Shipping, handling, processing and taxes (if applicable) are in addition to the cost of products purchased from Flat Earth Imports.
